QCAT

The Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) is a tribunal that was established for smaller civil disputes. Most QCAT matters proceed on a self-represented basis, that is you appear without a lawyer. This is not always applicable as it will depend on the complexity of the issues.

A tree or tenancy dispute is usually managed by yourself. More complex issues such as guardianship or debt matters may require further legal advice or representation.
