QCAT

QCAT stands for the Queensland Civil and Administrative Appeals Tribunal. QCAT is responsible for providing adjudication on a wide range of civil disputes. It also deals with Guardianship, Reviews of Government departments such as Blue Cards, and Building Disputes.

The Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) is a tribunal that was established for smaller civil disputes. Most QCAT matters proceed on a self-represented basis, that is you appear without a lawyer. This is not always applicable as it will depend on the complexity of the issues.

A tree or tenancy dispute is usually managed by yourself however sometimes you may require assistance. More complex issues such as guardianship or debt matters may require further legal advice or representation.

Other QCAT Matters
Residential Tenancy Disputes
Tree & Fencing Disputes
Guardianship Issues
Minor Debt Disputes
Motor Vehicle Disputes
Blue Card & Weapons

Discrimination Complaints

Regardless of your matter, you can benefit from a consultation with our QCAT specialist who can advise you on processes, any legal considerations and assist with documentation. This will maximise your prospects of success in relation to your matter.
